The man who was slain on Wednesday night in the Russell neighborhood has been identified.
At 6:26 p.m. on Wednesday, the coroner declared Shantell Potter Sr., 41, dead from gunshot wounds.
Around 5:20 p.m., according to the Louisville Metro Police Department, a shooting occurred in the 1000 block of Esquire Alley. That’s the TARC headquarters across the street.
Police discovered Potter had been shot multiple times when they arrived.
After being brought to the hospital, he passed away there.
As of now, there are no suspects.
