A bicycle rider from north Phoenix lost his life in an accident, which occurred early Tuesday morning.
The bicycle-against-vehicle collision happened at around 5.50 a.m. near 21st Avenue and Northern Avenue. Authorities said that due to the collision, a man was killed.
The Northern Avenue has been closed in both directions from 21st Lane up to 23rd Avenue due to the accident. The officials say that the road will likely be closed for several hours in the course of carrying out further investigations on the incident.
The car involved in the accident was left at the scene, where police began the effort to collect information on what triggered the accident.
