Using the right-wing platform Gettr, Frank Carillo, 66, of Winchester, posted 19 threatening remarks regarding the vice president and Democratic presidential nominee, according to an affidavit supporting a criminal case.

An email account connected to Carillo is cited in the document as having made 19 mentions of Harris on the platform, including a promise to “cut your eyes out of your head while you’re alive bitch” and the declaration, “Kamala Harris needs to be put on fire alive I will do it personally.”

Harris is going to regret ever trying to become president because if that ever happens, I will personally pluck out her eyes with a pair of pliers but first I will shoot and kill everyone that gets in my way that is a fucking promise, according to a letter written by Carillo in late July, following Joe Biden’s withdrawal from his presidential re-election campaign and Harris’s increasing lead in the Democratic primary in November.

Federal agents “seized an RF-15 rifle and a 9mm handgun” from Carillo’s home, according to the same document.

According to a lady Carillo shared a home with, he purchased the firearms in 2023 and 2024.

In February of this year, the account associated with Carillo posted the following comment: “I HAVE MY AR-15 LOCKED AND LOADED.”

During a Pennsylvania rally this month, Donald Trump, the Republican challenger against Harris in the November election, was shot at with a rifle akin to an AR-15. The previous president only had minor ear injuries, but he lived.

The affidavit in the Virginia case states that Carillo’s remarks were made after Maricopa County, Arizona officials received a threat report against Republican elections administrator Stephen Richer, who stated that the 2020 election in that state was not rigged against Trump.
