According to court documents, 20-year-old Jacob Fogal, who sustained injuries in the incident, later turned up at a hospital seeking treatment. The police say that Fogal attempted to steal methamphetamine from Reed, fired upon him, and threw his gun in Reed’s way. After the crime, he allegedly tossed the gun away.

He was indicted on numerous counts, including two counts of first-degree assault and tampering with evidence. Reed was indicted on one count of first-degree trafficking of methamphetamine. Fogal is currently being held on a $50,000 bond pending arraignment Tuesday at 1 p.m., while Reed’s is scheduled for Nov. 20.

The incident remains under investigation as police try to understand the full circumstances of the violence and drug activity involved.
