One man is dead and police are continuing their search for a suspect after a fatal stabbing in central Phoenix on Sunday night.
It was on Monday morning, approximately 6 a.m. when the Phoenix Police were called to the area of 16th Street and Indian School Road to report an injured man. Upon reaching there, the police found a man with deep stab wounds. He was taken straight to a nearby hospital but died from his wounds.
It has been reported that the victim’s name is not known yet and is on hold until the family gets news. The police confirmed investigation into the attack but declined to comment further about an alleged suspect until now.
To facilitate the investigations, police have closed all eastbound lanes on Indian School Road from 16th Street to State Route 51 as they continue to collect evidence from the scene.
