When a car struck a pole on Tuesday, one person was killed and another was sent to the hospital.
It happened on Mack Road in Fairfield, between Benchway Court and Arcade Drive, at around two in the morning.
After confirming that one person had died, the authorities announced that two people had been admitted to the hospital. It’s unknown what the other person’s situation is.
