Judy Walker, a visitation team lead and Project Manager for AVID Schoolwide, said of Woodard:  “The visiting team observed rigorous instruction and high levels of student engagement in all classrooms.  The school receives tremendous support from the district office, allowing for a schoolwide implementation of AVID with strong fidelity.”

AVID is a kindergarten through postsecondary system that challenges all students to become confident scholars, fully prepared for successful completion of a four-year college program.
