Williams Field High School students earn national yearbook honors

Williams Field High School students were awarded for their skills during this year’s Journalism Education Association/National Scholastic Press Association’s High School Journalism Convention in San Diego in early April.
Jacqueline Aguilar, a junior, earned an Excellent rating in the Logo Design category.

The logo she designed for a fictitious jeans company featured a realistic stitching effect, which the judges felt showed significant skill.
Alyssa Morton, a junior, was awarded an Honorable Mention in the Photo Story category, in which separate photos were grouped together to tell a story.
