Coronavirus webinar for schools by AZ Dept. of Health 3/11

The Arizona Department of Health Services is holding a Coronavirus webinar update for schools (K-12) and childcare on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
If you were unable to attend the first Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) webinar for schools (K-12)/ childcare that was hosted on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, we will be hosting this webinar for the second time covering the same material.
The purpose of the webinars is to cover disease background, detail Arizona’s response activities, share what we know, give suggestions on what you should do, and allow time for questions and answers.
There is an ongoing outbreak of respiratory illness that originated in Wuhan, China caused by a new type of coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2). There are a number of cases globally including the United States. On February 26th, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control confirmed a possible instance of community spread in the United States.
Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses, some causing respiratory illness in people. Signs and symptoms, similar to the common cold or the flu, include a runny nose, cough, sore throat, fever, and general feeling of being unwell.
