US World Report & News evaluated more than 19,400 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Schools were awarded gold, silver, or bronze medals based on state proficiency standards, how well they prepare students for college and other factors.

Once again, Arcadia, Chaparral and Desert Mountain high schools earned the Silver Award.

The Arizona High School list ranked Chaparral 11th, Desert Mountain 22nd and Arcadia 29th.
