Queen Creek Unified School District Announces New Board Members

On Tuesday, December 15, 2020, Maricopa County School Superintendent Steve Watson administered the Oath of Office for the newest members of the Queen Creek Unified School District (QCUSD) Governing Board. Mrs. Jennifer Revolt, Mrs. Patty Campbell and Mr. Matthew Riffey were elected to the QCUSD Governing Board this past November. Mrs. Revolt was re-elected for a second term. Mrs. Campbell and Mr. Riffey are new members and will join Mrs. Revolt, Mr. Ken Brague, and Mrs. Samantha Davis on the Board beginning January 12, 2021.

Mrs. Revolt has been a QCUSD Governing Board member since 2017; this is her second term. She has been a public elementary school teacher and a PTO member. Mrs. Revolt and her husband have two kids who are QCUSD students.

Mr. Riffey has been a resident of Queen Creek for 16 years. He and his wife, Denice, have four daughters and two grandchildren. His youngest daughter is a junior at Queen Creek High School.

Mrs. Campbell and her family have called Queen Creek home for more than 15 years. Her two children have grown up in QCUSD. She has served as a PTO president and a site council member.

Mr. Brague is the Board president and has been on the QCUSD School Board since 2009. Mrs. Davis has been a Board member since 2017. School Board members are everyday people in our community, elected to the position by public vote. The Board assists the district in planning, budgeting, and implementing school programs.
