The Equity, Diversity and Inclusiveness Monty by Tucson Unified and The City of Tucson
The Equity, Diversity and inclusiveness Department is excited to announce that the City of Tucson has partnered with Tucson Unified School District in recognizing August 15 – September 15 as Equity, Diversity, & Inclusiveness Awareness month.
The core values of equity, diversity, and inclusiveness are at the heart of ensuring learning and academic success for ALL students and drive our commitment to eliminate any opportunity gaps.
We encourage our community to join us in celebrating our diverse students, their families, and our community. During this special month of celebration, we hope to raise awareness of the importance of equity, diversity, and inclusiveness in education. Below are a few highlights of how Tucson Unified is celebrating these core values:
