In 2010, voters approved a $118 million bond to modernize several Scottsdale District middle and elementary schools, including Supai. Construction of the new Fine Arts building and renovations to the Administration building began in June 2011. The project cost $2.8 million. Jokake Construction was the general contractor, and Architechnology was the architectural firm for the project. The old M building was renovated to house classrooms for the new 6th graders. The project was finished ahead of schedule and without a single day of lost instruction.
