Students: Enter art contest to lead pledge at Governor’s inauguration

Arizona students in kindergarten through 8th grade are invited to enter an art competition to share what “An Arizona for Everyone” means to them by Arizona Governor-Elect Katie Hobbs from now until 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time on Dec. 28, 2022.

The winning student and their parents will be invited to the Governor-Elect’s public inauguration ceremony on Jan. 5, 2023 in Phoenix where the student will lead the Pledge of Allegiance and sit on stage with his or her parents as special guests.

The winning artwork will be featured in news releases and on the Governor’s website.

The runner-up winners will get a phone call from Governor-Elect Katie Hobbs and their artwork will be displayed at the inaugural gala on Jan. 7, 2023.

Students entering their artwork must be in kindergarten through 8th grade.

Artworks must be titled and uploaded via the online submission form to be considered. Upload artwork online or at http://www.katiehobbs.org/art by scanning the QR code below.

Artworks must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time on Dec. 28, 2022.
