Keller nominated Jordan for his demonstrated aptitude for scholastic merit, leadership potential, and exemplary citizenship.
Jordan will be attending the Technology Leadership Summit at Stanford University from July 21, 2015 through July 30, 2015.
During his trip he will learn about life at Stanford University, participate in a hands-on community service project, have the opportunity to build a robot, visit the city of San Francisco’s iconic places such a Pier 39, Ghirardelli Square, and the Golden Gate Bridge, as well as enjoy an eclectic dinner in San Francisco.
He will have the opportunity take a technology tour of the AT&T MLB Ballpark, tour the Tech Museum of Innovation, visit a top technology company and image his future, explore the Intel Museum and experience the Computer History Museum through interactive multimedia exhibitions.
Jordan will also participate in many leadership meetings such as Today’s technology, Learning to lead, and Leadership characteristics.
Jordan will have the chance to meet and listen to Roger Crouch (former astronaut and senior scientist for the International Space Station (2000-2004)), discuss his award winning involvement in scientific leadership. He will meet with people and have a chance to ask questions to experts from companies like Facebook, Apple, and Adobe.
