The Questbridge program is a college and scholarship application process that helps outstanding qualified high school seniors gain admission and full four-year scholarships to the nation’s top tier colleges of their choice.

Partner colleges include University of Chicago, MIT, Duke, Stanford, Scripps, Brown and others.

Scholarships are comprised of tuition, room and board, and other expenses.

“Jonah and Areli have demonstrated that choosing the pathways of hard work, perseverance and self-confidence have led to doors of their dreams,” said Superintendent David Verdugo.  “They are very deserving of this award, and we are proud of their accomplishments. We wish them the best in the next phase of their lives.”

This year, of 14,491 applications submitted nationwide, 5,338 students were selected as finalists based on their academic, financial, and extracurricular credentials.

The program will now match finalists with colleges of their choice.

If a finalist is not matched with one their top choice colleges, the individual can still apply with the “Questbridge Finalist” distinction to other partner colleges, enhancing their possibility of being awarded generous scholarships.
