Mali Cao

Red Mountain High’s Mali Cao, Pinnacle yearbook staffer, is one of only 68 winners in the National Showcase: 2014 Photo Contest.

Red Mountain Pinnacle yearbook staff member Mali Cao, sophomore, won an Honorable Mention Award in the Student Life and Traditions category for her photo “Activity at Lunch” in this year’s Jostens/Wolfe’s Photo Contest.

Out of 5,000 entries from across the country, only 68 students won awards in this year’s national competition.

“From the moment I saw Mali’s photo, I knew it was an award winner,” said Jan Saquella, Red Mountain yearbook adviser. “I’m so proud of Mali’s accomplishment.”

Mali’s photo will appear in Red Mountain’s 2014 Pinnacle yearbook.
