Red Mountain hosts SciTech Expo, Discovery Trek

At this year’s Sci-Tech Expo, Mesa Public Schools will showcase the theme “Full STEAM Ahead!” — science, technology, engineering, arts and math — at Red Mountain High School from 4 to 8 p.m. Feb. 27.

As part of the Arizona SciTech Festival, Mesa Public Schools will host a SciTech Expo, Discovery Trek and Research Expo.

Join us from 4 to 8 p.m. Feb. 27 at Red Mountain High, 7301 E. Brown Road, Mesa. Admission is free. Everyone is welcome.

Come celebrate STEAM with fun and exciting hands-on interactive activities, simulations, exhibits, demonstrations and presentations led by schools, colleges and businesses on topics such as:

  • robotics
  • air and space
  • science of food and art
  • biotechnology
  • District Research Expo competition finalists
  • and much more!

Arizona SciTech Festival

The festival includes a series of more than 400 expos, workshops, conversations, exhibitions and tours in neighborhoods throughout the state in February and March.

The Arizona SciTech Festival is a grass roots collaboration of more than 450 industry, education, arts, civic and community organizations.

Events are designed to entertain and inform everyone from 3 to 103. The festival is spearheaded by the Arizona Commerce Authority, Arizona Science Center, the Arizona Technology Council Foundation, Arizona Board of Regents, the University of Arizona and Arizona State University.
