Four schools – Alhambra, Carl Hayden, Camelback and North – held Rachel’s Challenge events, January 27-30.

Each campus hosted two assemblies for high school students, hearing the story of Rachel (a Columbine shooting victim) and challenge students to create a culture of kindness and compassion on campus.

A core group of students went through Peer Leadership Training to empower them with tools and exercises to help foster a culture on each campus.

Each school also hosted a community event, giving parents and the community an opportunity to experience Rachel’s Challenge.
