Phoenix Union High School District will partner with the ASU International Leaders in Education Program again this spring semester, bringing in 16 international teachers to work with host teachers at five campuses.
Metro will have seven teachers, North, 4; Franklin and Bioscience, two each and Central will host one.
The teachers are from Bangladesh, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Philippines and Tanzania.
The teachers will intern for 80-90 hours with their host teachers in the classroom.
The international teachers will meet their host teachers and attend an orientation and cultural workshop, January 24.
