Phoenix Union hosts teacher career fair on Saturday, Nov. 22

Phoenix Union High School District is holding a Teacher Career Fair, Saturday, November 22 at the District Office. This is the second year the District has held a fall fair because of a shortage in critical areas, such as math, biology, physics, physical science, special education and English.

The majority of positions would begin second semester, January 5.  A few vacancies are available for immediate start date.  Interviews will be conducted by school and district personnel.

Phoenix Union offers the top teacher salaries in the state, and credit up to eight years experience on its salary schedule.


WHERE:               Phoenix Union Center for Educational Services at  4502 N. Central Ave. in Phoenix   (at the corner of Central and Campbell)


WHEN:                 Saturday, November 22 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.


WHO:                   Prospective teachers, school and district representatives.

Prospective teachers should bring resume, transcripts, teacher certification, letters of recommendation and a copy of a fingerprint clearance card.
