Peoria Unified will host an Autism Spectrum Disorder Family Fair at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 23 at Paseo Verde Elementary School at 7880 W. Greenway Road, Peoria.
The event will include a speaker from Raising Special Kids who will present at 6:30 p.m.
This event will lend opportunities for parents of autistic children to learn about resources and organizations outside of school.
There will be supervised activities for kids so parents can visit the informational booths. Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase.
Peoria Unified, located in the Northwest Valley, serves more than 37,000 students in 34 elementary schools, seven high schools and one non-traditional school. With ongoing open enrollment and alternative educational opportunities, the district boasts a 95 percent high school graduation rate.
