Liberty High School and Peoria High School are proud to invite all community members to attend their annual Big Band Swing Dance at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014 in the Liberty High School Auditorium.

Liberty High School is located at 9621 W Speckled Gecko Dr. in Peoria.

The Big Band Swing Dance at Liberty High School provides a perfect occasion for community members to enjoy and dance to live big bands from two of Peoria Unified’s high schools.

Students from Liberty’s and Peoria’s Jazz ensembles perform a variety of styles of music in a traditional “Big Band” setting. Both groups are competitive Jazz ensembles performing in multiple competitions and festivals throughout the year.

Attendees will be asked to make a $5 suggested donation which will go to both schools’ band programs and to cover the cost of the hors d’oeuvres offered at the event.
