North student earns perfect score on National French Exam

North High School  junior Karla Garcia Torres had a perfect score in the National French Exam, ranking first in Arizona and first nationally in Level 3 (third year French).

When the rest of the scores came in, North was well-represented both in both state and national rankings; 11 other North students finished in the top 10 in the nation in the exam.

In the Second Year exam, Margaret Hinson was first in Arizona and 3rd in the U.S.  Juan Catano was 3rd in Arizona, 6th in the nation; Victor Vazquez placed 4th in Arizona, and 7th in the U.S., and Jose Granillo was 7th in the state, and 10th nationally.

In Level 3, Guillermo Arenas and Maya Christian tied for 4th in state, 6th in the U.S; Lina Quintero Segura and Arren Kimbel-Sannit tied for 5th in state, 8th in the nation, and Isabel Diggins was 7th in Arizona, 10th in the nation.

First year French student Hugo Crick-Furman was 2nd in state and 9th in the nation.

In the Level 4 (fourth year) Stacy Espinoza placed second in the state.
