Five Students of the Month stepped into the spotlight at a December school board meeting. District officials, principals, teachers, family and friends gathered to honor the winners for their outstanding achievements.
The new Mesa Public Schools Student of the Month program is becoming the highlight of school board meetings, where district officials, principals, teachers, family and friends gather to recognize winners’ outstanding accomplishments and activities.
The awards complement the district’s efforts to help the youth of our community achieve their personal best and celebrate their success.
Each month, schools take turns selecting elementary and secondary students who step above and beyond their many outstanding schoolmates.
