Superintendency and Governing Board members joined school administrators to recognize students from Dobson, Mesa, Mountain View, Red Mountain, Skyline, Westwood and East Valley Academy high schools as they received their diplomas.

Due to student success, East Valley Academy‘s graduation ceremony moved off-campus to the Hilton Phoenix/Mesa this year in order to have room for all of the proud family and friends in attendance.

“Mesa High’s graduation was beautiful,” says Lisa Creaser, Mesa High School prinicipal. “Student speakers thanked their parents, teachers and coaches, and family members applauded the class’s accomplishments. Our class of 2015 gave more than 76,000 hours in service learning during their four years as Jackrabbits, and we are so very proud of them.”

The class of 2015, which includes four Flinn Scholars, three QuestBridge Scholars and a Gates Millennium Scholar, was awarded more than $70 million in scholarships.

“We are very proud of our graduates and their accomplishments. We know they will continue to strive for excellence in their future endeavors,” says Shawn Lynch, principal at Westwood High School.
