Enedina Chapin

Mesa Public Schools officials recognized Enedina Chapin, president of the Poston Junior High Music Booster Club, at the district’s Jan. 28 school board meeting.

Enedina is president of the Poston Junior High Music Booster Club. Before her reign, the boosters were headed for extinction. Under her leadership, membership is skyrocketing, volunteers abound and finances are flourishing!

Enedina spends countless hours organizing fundraisers, and school and community functions, coordinating parent volunteers, and obtaining goods, services and supplies. Enedina’s Booster Club provided money for a choir accompanist, orchestra assistants and a percussion instructor. The club bought a xylophone, a drum set, trumpets and violins.

Enedina ensures that there are decorations on stage, chaperones at special events, and a variety of remarkable resources at school that enable music teachers to provide Poston students the best education possible.

Enedina plays a vital role in the performing arts at Poston Junior High. Students and staff are grateful for the time and effort she generously volunteers on their behalf.

Volunteer of the Month prizes

Superintendent Mike Cowan presented Chapin a certificate, a copy of the tribute, a tumbler, a candy bouquet and a coaster from Mesa Public Schools. Cowan also awarded Chapin a $50 gift card and a book titled “Because of You: Celebrating the Difference You Make” from the Mesa Foundation for Educational Excellence.
