Mesa high school choirs’ holiday music CD raises funds for choirs, local charities

Get the season of sharing off on the right note! Pick up some “Desert Holiday Sounds” CDs for gift giving and for your own music library! CDs are on sale now through Dec. 20 at a variety of convenient locations. Proceeds benefit high school choirs and Mesa Rotary charities.

Choirs at Dobson, Mesa, Mountain View, Red Mountain, Skyline and Westwood high schools, in partnership with Mesa Rotary, are proud to present “Desert Holiday Sounds.” The new CD features the six MPS high school choirs’ best holiday music.

  • from choir members and bookstores at all high schools
  • at the district’s Creative and Performing Arts Building, 155 N. Center St., Mesa, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays
  • in the lobby of the district’s Administrative Services Center, 63 E. Main St., Mesa, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays

Proceeds will benefit high school choir programs and the ongoing work of local charities supported by Mesa Rotary.

“‘Desert Holiday Sounds’ will get the season of sharing off on the right note. It will make a beautiful gift,” said Patrick Walsh, the school district’s director of creative and performing arts. “Happy holidays!” he added.
