Managing Empowerment Scholarship Accounts

Superintendent of Public Instruction Kathy Hoffman asked the Arizona Legislature to release the full four percent of Empowerment Scholarship Account administrative funding allowed by law to the Arizona Department of Education, instead of the 1.62 percent currently allocated to manage ESAs, the state’s voucher program.
