Madison Schools Recognized Internationally for Re-Accreditation

Madison School District has been approved by the AdvancedED Global Commission as an internationally-accredited school for their continued improvements through the use of accreditation. The school district was originally accredited in 2013 and has continued to meet the high standards of AdvacedED’s re-accreditation qualifications.
AdvancedED provides nationally-recognized accreditation, to schools who continue to increase student performance. To earn accreditation, schools must meet AdvancedED’s high standards, be evaluated by a team of professionals from outside the school and implement a continuous process of school improvement. Madison School District was first recognized by three regional agencies prior to being internationally accredited. Accreditation is granted on a five-year term.
“Accreditation is a high honor for the Madison School District. To achieve it again we know that it shows students, parents, teachers and community that we are committed to providing a safe and enriching learning environment and maintaining an efficient and effective operation staffed by highly qualified educators.” (STATED DR. BACA)
Accreditation through AdvancedED opens opportunities for students because this accreditation is recognized across state lines, which eases the transfer process for students from one accredited school to the next. This accreditation puts Madison School District with over 36,000 schools and school systems internationally who are committed to the continuous progression of their learning environments.
