Legislative District 12 candidate forum scheduled for July 17

The Chandler Education Association and Valley Interfaith Project are holding a Legislative District 12 Candidate Forum to help community members make an informed choice on this important election.

The forum will take place on July 17, 2018 from 6:30-7:45 pm at SPACE by Rocket, located at 3335 East Baseline Road in Gilbert.

The following candidates have confirmed participation:

• Elizabeth Brown
• Joe Bisaccia
• Lynsey Robinson
• D.J. Rothans
• Blake Sacha

The purpose of this non-partisan event is to provide voters with candidates’ perspectives on key issues facing our state.

Questions on a range of issues focusing on (but not limited to) Arizona education policy will be given to all candidates in advance, and each candidate will be given the same amount of time to answer each question.

To maintain the non-partisan nature of this forum, campaigning is not permitted (please refrain from wearing campaign shirts, buttons, etc.).

The Chandler Education Association (CEA) is a professional organization that advocates for educators in the Chandler Unified School District.

Valley Interfaith Project (VIP) is a broad based, non-partisan organization of dues-paying member congregations, schools, unions and non-profits committed to building relational power through organizing people for sustainable social and economic improvement.
