Kofa’s Royal Dancers perform in Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade

Kofa’s Royal Dancers Were Chosen To Represent The State Of Arizona In The Pearl Harbor Memorial In Hawaii From December 4 – 9, 2014.

Kofa High School’s Royal Dancers were chosen to represent the State of Arizona in the Pearl Harbor Memorial in Hawaii from December 4 – 9.

Eleven of the high school  dancers from Yuma performed with dancers from all over the United States in a memorial ceremony at the parade on December 7, in Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii.

Kofa’s Royal Dancers were chosen to represent the state of Arizona in the Pearl Harbor Memorial in Hawaii from December 4 – 9, 2014.

The dancers have been rehearsing since October for several hours a week, including weekends, and learning the routine from a professional choreographer via video.

The Royal Dancers were referred to the Worldstrides Performance Program and were selected to represent the State of Arizona in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade.

Students each had to raise $2,000 to attend. The group fundraised from May 2014 until October 2014.  The dancers were raised a total of $27,000 in 5 months.
