On Thursday, April 28th, Gabriel’s Angels will present its annual Unleash the Love fundraising breakfast to generate awareness about abused, neglected and at-risk youth in the community sponsored by Casino Arizona and Empire-Cat.
This year’s Precious Paws honorees are Paradise Valley resident and respected adoption attorney, Kathy Pidgeon and Scottsdale resident and VP of Sales with Clear Channel Outdoor, Brad Gould.
The breakfast is the organization’s largest fundraising event of the year, supporting its valuable programs which reach thousands of youth in need through Pet Therapy.
Proceeds raised from this event will help support the following:
• Delivering healing Pet Therapy to at-risk children throughout the year
• Pet Therapy team activity kits
• Training for Pet Therapy teams
Founded in 2000, Gabriel’s Angels currently reaches over 14,000 abused, neglected and at-risk children in Arizona per year through the application of innovative Pet Therapy. The program’s goal is to increase the overall sense of well-being and happiness for children in a safe environment, and to build critical core behaviors, such as trust, empathy, respect, tolerance and self-esteem.
