This is our Sonoran Desert Tortoise, Frankalina. She lives in our backyard in Cave Creek, Arizona. She has lived with us since she was a hatchling, 23 years ago. Our family spends the summers making sure she stays as cool as possible and has her favorite daily salads with tortoise diet, native flowers and strawberries!

This is a photo of our two kids, Giana and Aran, on a family sunset SUP (stand up paddle board) adventure on Canyon Lake. We go paddle boarding as a family nearly every weekend as a way to keep cool and have fun together. The beauty of Canyon Lake never disappoints!

When it’s hot outside, we move inside to play 80s arcade games. Our favorite place to go is Level 1 in downtown Gilbert. They have the best games!
