During the Peoria Education Foundation’s Backpack Donation Campaign, with a minimum $25 donation you will receive a brand new backpack!
If you do not wish to receive a backpack for your support, one will be donated to a Peoria Unified student in need.
The Peoria Education Foundation is a separate 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that supports excellence in education in the Peoria Unified School District.
To donate, click here. Upon receipt of your donation, you will receive an email to confirm your choice of backpack color: red, blue or gray.
The backpacks will be available for pick-up at the District Administration Center at 6330 W. Thunderbird Road. You will be contacted when it is available for pick-up.
This campaign will run now through Friday, Aug. 7.
Thanks to the support of individuals and corporate donors, the Peoria Education Foundation awarded $28,000 to teachers for innovative grant programs and $15,000 to students pursuing higher education in the 2014-15 school year.
Since 1987, the Peoria Education Foundation has offered grants to teachers in the Peoria Unified School District to enhance the educational experience of students.
