Desert Palms Elementary will host a community event from 5 to 7 p.m Friday, March 28 to promote outstanding performance during the upcoming AIMS test.
During the event at the school at 11441 N. 55th Avenue in Glendale, there will be multiple performances, presentations and activities to engage community members and students in learning.
Arizona Science Center will bring the family engineering experience to the cafeteria.
In addition, Glendale’s Police and Fire Departments will be in attendance.
Teachers will also showcase examples of student achievement for each grade level.
The school’s PTSO will hold a Book Fair and multiple food vendors will be on campus. Additionally, there will be a live DJ with games and prizes, band and choir performances, a fashion presentation and much more.
