It’s a swirling sandstorm of famous Arabian Tales from Ali Baba to Scheherazade as Aladdin journeys to find a magic lamp in a Cave of (not-so-great) Wonders. Full of memorable characters, from lost Penguins to talking Palm Trees, this is an adventure worthy of 1001 laughs!

Among the roles for students grades K through 12, are Aladdin and his Mother; the Princess Dory and her father, the Sultan; the Grand Vizier; the keeper of the Book of Answers; Dinazade and her sister Scheherazade; the Mysterious One; mischievous Genies; a stubborn Donkey; a spunky Goat; scheming Cassim; Ali Baba; Sinbad and his Sailors; wise-cracking Palm Trees and fleet footed Camels; a Cave of Wonders; Vagabonds and a pack of lost Penguins.

Missoula Children’s Theatre Tour Directors will conduct auditions for all roles at 4 p.m. on Monday, August 17, at the Cactus Shadows Fine Arts Center.

Rehearsals are August 18, 19 and 20, between 4 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Exact times will vary per age group.
