A parody website critical of the former Scottsdale school board president reared its head during a team-building exercise at a board retreat this week. The retreat brought together the three veteran board members and the two newly elected board members, including Jann-Michael Greenburg. Former board President Barbara Perleberg had sued over the blog that satirized her and other board members last year. She uncovered the writer of the blog was Greenburg’s father before dropping the suit.
After several references to the “elephant in the room,” Greenburg discussed the controversy at length. Greenburg acknowledged he knew his father was behind the account.
