The Mary Lou Fulton’s Teacher’s College edXchange initiative invites you to the first Saturday Scholars event with Dr. David C. Berliner, Dr. Gene V. Glass, and their associate authors on their newest book “50 Myths and Lies that Threaten America’s Public Schools.”

This look at modern education reform tackles the mythical failure of public education perpetuated by economic interests who stand to gain from its destruction, such as:

  • Public schools are inferior to private schools
  • Public schools are among the worst in the world in math and science
  • Teachers should be fired if their students don’t score at the national average.

Join us for a morning of conversation and dialogue with two of the most respected voices in education and their team of young education scholars on Saturday, March 22 from 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. in ASU’s Education Lecture Hall.

Coffee, tea, and light refreshments will be provided.
