Asante Preparatory Academy Dedication Ceremony

The Dysart Unified School District’s new Asante Preparatory Academy held a Dedication Ceremony on Monday, September 9. 

Asante is a new school that opened this year to K-8 students.

Asante’s focus is on Accelerated Learning, where students progress at an individual pace and depth of learning.

Students use collaboration and Design Thinking to address real-world challenges.

Student data is used to pinpoint where each student is on the learning path to allow for every opportunity for growth and acceleration in learning.  We will provide all middle schoolers the option to earn at least a half credit course for high school. 

In addition to core academics, Asante also offers arts, athletics and other extracurricular opportunities. 

Students, staff, community members, and district leadership gathered on Monday, September 9, 2019 for a dedication ceremony of Asante.

The dedication ceremony included district administration, students, staff, and valued community members in the celebration.

Students performed a poem and an original song to commemorate the occasion.

We are excited to now offer a school in the growing community surrounding Asante with numerous educational opportunities for students.
