AEF’s Our World initiative provides anti-racism training
The Arizona Educational Foundation is proud to announce the launch of Our World, a groundbreaking new initiative providing training in anti-racism and equity for schools, districts, school boards, businesses, nonprofits, and higher education partners.
Our World aligns with the mission of AEF to support and celebrate excellence in PreK-12th grade public education through business and community partnerships. AEF is committed to using its distinctive and unique platform to support the fight against racism and bigotry.
Our World is a response to calls for societal justice and reform around anti-racism. It was created to assist school districts and businesses with fulfilling commitments they made to adopt more equitable practices.
Our World training provides the tools needed to build culturally inclusive learning and work environments; helps individuals to recognize and combat racism on school, corporate, and nonprofit campuses; and fosters open communication about the issues of bias, race, and social justice. Ultimately, our desire is to create safe spaces where all stakeholders are involved in creating equitable and just environments.
Four tracks are currently available and the program is FREE for any Arizona public school through support from Boeing. Read below for more information or to bring Our World to your school or business!
Our World, Our Schools
Tailored to meet the needs of schools and districts seeking training in anti-racism, equity, diversity, and inclusion. Educators will learn strategies for creating culturally inclusive and anti-racist classrooms. Classrooms may also seek assistance with implementing student-led social justice projects. Our World: Educators for Indigenous Students
Providing both in-person and digital spaces for Indigenous educators and educators serving Indigenous students to connect, learn, share, and grow. Works with First Nation communities to raise awareness around the need for more Indigenous educators. Free to any Arizona public school courtesy of Boeing and PNC Foundation.

Our World in the Workplace
Training for businesses and organizations seeking to build and foster anti-racist workplace environments. Customized to meet the needs of each company, Our World will help guide businesses and nonprofits to establish or develop strategies for reaching equity goals.
