Arizona Educational Foundation names five finalists for Teacher of the Year

The Arizona Educational Foundation announced the five finalists in the running for the 2020 Arizona Teacher of the Year.  

These five finalists, known as “Ambassadors for Excellence,” are in the running for Arizona Teacher of the Year, which will be announced at the Awards Luncheon on October 24th at the Arizona Biltmore.

The winner will go on to be Arizona’s candidate for National Teacher of the Year and receive cash awards, program memberships, travel, parade participation, and additional miscellaneous prizes listed at https://www.azedfoundation.org/teacher-of-the-year.

The five semifinalists, not in the running any longer, remain part of the “2020 Top Ten Teachers of the Year” and will be honored at the Awards luncheon and at various events throughout next year.
