Arcadia High School will host a No Place for Hate® Assembly at 8:33 a.m. Friday, February 21 at Arcadia High School.

Representatives from the Anti-Defamation League will present Arcadia High School with a banner signifying the school’s distinction as a “No Place for Hate”® school during an assembly at the Arcadia News Network Studio at the school at 4703 E. Indian School Road in Phoenix.

This honor was earned by the hard work of the Arcadia Student Advisory Board who have scheduled a number of events to earn this recognition.

According to the ADL website, ADL’s No Place for Hate® initiative provides an organizing framework for combating bias, bullying and hatred, leading to long-term solutions to create and maintain a positive school culture.

It provides a unique opportunity to empower students, faculty, administration and family members to take a stand against hate and bullying by incorporating new and existing programs under one empowering message.
