Arcadia hosts talk about applying for college

Arcadia High School will host an evening with Dr. Carol Barash, the leading expert in college admission essays from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2 at Arcadia High School at 4703 E. Indian School Road in Phoenix.

 This free presentation will explore the role of college admission essays to discover how to:

  • Empower students to stand out in a competitive college application pool
  • Use the typical stressful application process to help students thrive
  • Develop a family strategy that enables students to take control of their own college admission process

Dr. Barash has taught her proprietary college essay curriculum to more than 10,000 students and 500 educators. She is an award-winning professor at Princeton, Michigan and Rutgers, and has served on the admission committee at Douglass College.

Dr. Barash founded Story to College and published Write Out Loud to revolutionize college admissions by teaching students from all backgrounds to write essays that connect.
