AZEdNews is giving back to teachers with $200 AZEdNews Classroom Grants sponsored by Davidson/Belluso!
Davidson/Belluso is a full-service advertising agency based in Phoenix, Arizona, that has worked closely with AZEdNews and Arizona School Boards Association for many years. Founded in 2001 by Michela Belluso and Rob Davidson, Davidson/Belluso is certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), and as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) by the City of Phoenix. AZEdNews Classroom Grants are awarded to teachers to enhance classroom learning for their students.
When you apply below describe how your initiative or program impacts students’ achievement and how it reflects the priorities of your governing board and district.
Grant winners are selected each quarter in September, December, February and April. Thanks to Davidson/Belluso’s generosity, two teachers will be awarded $200 grants each quarter this school year.
Grant winners are ineligible to apply within the same year that they are awarded a grant.

Audra Damron of Desert Oasis Elementary will create Preschool Resource Kits with the AZEdNews Classroom Grant sponsored by Davidson/Belluso
Schreen Marvin of Centennial Elementary will use the AZEdNews Classroom Grant sponsored by Davidson/Belluso for her Playing is Learning initiative
Eileen Alston-Conway of Holdeman Elementary for a book club celebrating diversity, all cultures and civility
Jamie Atkins of Copper King Elementary for a year-long subscription for her students to News 2 You curriculum
Sonia Yanez of Globe High School to use AZEdNews grant for more books for class library
Craig Elliott of Boulder Creek Elementary to use AZEdNews grant for Light Savers STEAM
Jennifer Woods of Prescott High School will use AZEdNews grant for Freshman Academy
Jennifer Jordan of Palomino Intermediate School to use AZEdNews grant for student half-day STEM challenges
Leah Dockstader of Cottonwood Elementary uses grant to create Monarch butterfly migration station
LaRae Klay of Canyon Springs STEM Academy uses the grant to create sensory boards
Andy Morales of Rio Vista Elementary uses the grant for Kicks4Kids
