The Alhambra Elementary School District is hosting a district-wide Bring Your Parents to School Day on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at all 15 district schools.
Times vary depending on the campus, but best time for photo opportunities are between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Alhambra District is committed to providing parents the resources to help children at home with schoolwork, the vision for all students to go to college, and the skills to help children become successful contributing members of the community.
During Bring Your Parents to School Day, parents will learn along-side their children and participate in events focused on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) related activities; science experiments; math, reading, music, and art lessons; technology used in classrooms; and enjoy breakfast and or lunch with their children.
Bring Your Parents to School Day is a way to increase parent participation and the home/school connection.
