Pop group After Romeo will visit with students from Starlight Park Elementary school in Cartwright School District and Cocopah Middle School in Scottsdale Unified School District while they are in town for their Bully Proof Tour.
The band has previously teamed up with Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation to work on putting an end to bullying.
Band members Devin Fox, Jayk Purdy, Drew Scott, TC Carter and Blake English will share their personal bullying stories with the students. Afterward they will treat the students to a free concert sharing four or five of the songs from their album.
In order for all students to attend there will be two presentations at the Starlight Parkl.

The band is making stops in malls and schools in 11 U.S. cities encouraging their fans to take a stand against bullying. According to the Bully Proof Tour website, over 3.2 million students are victims of bullying each year and 56 percent of students have personally witnessed some type of bullying at school.
The Cartwright Elementary School District No.83, located in the West Valley, serves more than 19,000 students in 20 elementary schools.

After Romeo will also perform at Cocopah Middle School at 1:25 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27th at 6615 E. Cholla Street in Scottsdale.
The tour’s message emphasizes tolerance of individuality and promotes self-confidence while challenging students to stand proud and be “Bully Proof”. Longtime music veteran and Bully Proof Tour founder, Jonnie Forster, believes music is the most immediate and powerful force to positively impact today’s bullies and victims alike.
This event is related to Cocopah’s mission a to cultivate a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment which enables students to grow and achieve and continue effective implementation of Cocopah PRIDE for behavior management.
