Chandler Unified School District Is Proud To Announce That 56 CUSD Students Have Been Named National Merit Semifinalists this Year.

Chandler Unified School District is proud to announce that 56 CUSD students have been named National Merit semifinalists this year.

They are among 16,000 semifinalists nationwide out of more than 1.6 million students.

National Merit semifinalists represent less than 1 percent of U.S. high school seniors and include the highest-scoring entrants in each state.

Students who qualify as semifinalists based on their performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®) are the only program participants who have an opportunity to advance to the finalist level and compete for National Merit Scholarships.

In May, 7,500 finalists will be chosen to win the scholarship. Best of luck, CUSD students!
