Please join us for “A Christmas Cause” on Saturday, December 23 between 7:30am & noon as the Buckeye Elementary School District‘s Family Resource Center coordinates a Christmas giveaway the likes that you have never seen before.

Upwards of 1000 children and their families will be provided gifts, essentials, and food for the holidays. This event will be held at the Buckeye Elementary School gym, located at 210 S 6th Street, in downtown Buckeye, AZ.

I have personally invited every state legislator, congressman, senator, the state superintendent, the governor, and candidates to come lend a hand to see first hand how we do things much better than most.  So far, Stacie Banks, state superintendent candidate,  Noah Dyer, gubernatorial candidate, Mary Harris, LD13 state representative, and Tracy Livingston, state superintendent of public instruction candidate, have confirmed. Livingston started her teaching career at Buckeye Elementary School.

Invites just went out the beginning of the week, so hopefully more folks will join us as the time nears.  I’ll be there with The Buckeye Lions Club again providing free vision screenings to all in attendance with the handheld SPOT vision screener.  Please stop by to say hello and look at this remarkable piece of equipment that is helping children to see better.
